Stellar Satellite Communications, a major player in the design and provisioning of satellite and terrestrial modems that remotely track and monitor assets globally, has moved to a new location.
Officials with Stellar said that the company’s new home, which is conveniently located just minutes from Dulles International Airport, offers a modern, high-tech facility that will help better serve the company’s customer base in the trailer, rail, container, and oil and gas industries.
“This move couldn’t have come at a better time to give us the ability to showcase the broadest lineup of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communicators in the market,” said Laurie Quinn, vice president of sales for Stellar, in a statement.
“In our beautiful new building, we’ll have device demonstrations, product training and API programming tutorials for our entire line of products,” said Quinn.
As a Quake Global company, Stellar designs and manufactures industrial M2M modems and controllers for asset monitoring, advanced data acquisition, and machine, process and motion control and through satellite, cellular, GPS and other emerging technologies.
Through a network of international distributors, Stellar products serve companies in the heavy equipment, aviation, maritime and trucking industries, as well as in utility, oil and gas, container, and rail applications.
