ClearConnex, a wireless device software development company, announced a partnership with Maestro Wireless Solutions, a Hong Kong-based provider of wireless modems, to offer support to Maestro Heritage Gateway (News - Alert), Maestro 100evo and Maestro MicroTracker M2M wireless products with ClearComm Software Platform.
According to Olivier Bernard, Maestro Wireless Solutions’ vice president of business development, most M2M wireless device software is inflexible or defined for specific market verticals.
However, the ClearComm Software Platform from ClearConnex offers a more robust, customizable M2M communication platform that can reduce software development time and speed time-to-market.
Ryan Rangel, CTO of ClearConnex, said, “You can take any one of these modems with our ClearComm Solution and you don’t have to invest another cent on hardware, mechanical design or software development.”
Rangel continued, “Better still, if a customer uses one of our server partners, they could have a pre-certified, all-inclusive, out-of-the box solution in record time without even any infrastructure server investment.”
The ClearComm Platform is customizable and a great starting point to add capabilities or modify M2M wireless solution parameters to meet virtually any client need, according to Rangel. “With a ClearComm Platform head start in the development process, our clients enjoy exceptional money savings and will get to market faster.”
Maestro wireless modems offer a wide variety of form factors, features and sizes. By supporting ClearComm on Maestro Heritage Gateway, Maestro 100evo and Maestro MicroTracker M2M wireless products, the companies provide customers with a seamless solution that will enable them to market faster with reliable, quality performance.
ClearConnex also signed a Memorandum of Understanding or “MOU” with
LaFox, Ill.,-based Richardson Electronics (News - Alert) to sell ClearComm Platform on key wireless products including OpenAT based modems from Maestro and Sierra Wireless, as well as any Sierra Wireless Modules with OpenAT Operating System support.
In July ClearConnex announced Gentrifi has selected the ClearComm software platform to bring advanced wireless device solutions to market faster for its clients, TMCnet reported.
