KORE Telematics, a fully digital wireless network provider, has stated that they have unveiled their new location-based service offering – KORE LOCATE. Using the new offering customers can query and instantly find the location of any of their wireless devices on the KORE network
Through a single user interface within PRiSMPro or the available API, KORE LOCATE allows customers to query device locations and receive results with lat-lon and address information across the all networks that KORE supports in the US and Canada, including both GSM and CDMA. With KORE LOCATE, non-GPS solutions now have the ability to track device locations. Any application service provider who is a KORE customer can make its devices “location aware” and provide primary or secondary location-based information to its existing service offerings.
Jeff Evert, president of GPS Intelligence has said that the new KORE LOCATE service will provide a significant enhancement to their portfolio of tracking solutions. With KORE’s ability to deliver location information across both their GSM and CDMA network offerings and devices from a single interface, they can now provide both GPS and network-based solutions to all of their customers. This multi-network capability will allow them to deliver an even greater level of service, coverage and reliability.
Alex Brisbourne, president and COO of KORE Telematics added that KORE LOCATE empowers their ASP partners with a value-added location-based service to drive revenue generation and product differentiation. With no start-up costs related to infrastructure, hardware or software and the industry’s only on-demand pricing model, KORE is once again setting the standard for M2M network functionality. KORE continues to expand the power of its network with new features and services designed to meet the evolving needs of M2M application providers.
KORE LOCATE solution serves many applications such as: vehicle location and telemetics, payment processing, asset & logistic control, security, health care and more.
