This service connects and enables the management of M2M smart devices throughout the United States and in over 200 countries with a variety of flexible network plans and an easy-to-use single SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) interface, said Numerex, which is based in Atlanta, Ga.

Those who sign up for the suite can not only benefit from powerful global cellular offerings, but also make use of Numerex's extensive operational platform.

“The management of the M2M solution is simplified with a single sign-on to a robust back-end. Customers can manage their devices and solutions anywhere in the coverage area through a single interface," said Michael Marett, chief operating officer of Numerex.

An important dimension of Numerex WorldPass is that it streamlines the certification processes by coordinating with the major global carriers to ensure network compatibility, validation of commercial functionalities, and optimization of devices on selected networks.

Numerex said its data confidentiality, integrity and availability lies at the center of its service delivery. Seamless coverage plays a key role for customers seeking to broaden their service footprint abroad while mitigating development costs.

"Numerex WorldPass is an important component of our Global Gateway (News - Alert) to Secure M2M.  We want our customers to have at their disposal a complete set of tools that allow them to develop their M2M solutions efficiently and cost-effectively," said Stratton J. Nicolaides, chairman and CEO of Numerex.

Numerex WorldPass delivers M2M solutions worldwide through a comprehensive approach that takes into account the inter-relationships between device, network and application.

Customers typically subscribe to Numerex network and application services that are delivered through its hosted platforms.
