Under the terms of the alliance, DH Solutions will resell the Axeda Platform with its value-added expertise in M2M hardware integration and carrier services. The alliance simplifies the complex process of bringing together all necessary components for advanced M2M application delivery and provides a solution for the collection and distribution of specific M2M data requirements.

Focused on sustainable M2M wireless data solutions for both mobile and fixed applications, DH Solutions has completed successful deployments on grids, highways, pipelines, offices, rails and manufacturing facilities across North America since 1999.

"Through our collaboration with Axeda, our customers have out-of-the-box access to an on-demand M2M platform that is easily adapted to a variety of wireless applications," said Brian Rosema, executive director of Sales and Marketing at DH Solutions in a press release. “Combined with our integration expertise, customers can focus on their core areas of expertise and accelerate M2M application deployment."

Over 150 major organizations, including Abbott, EMC (News - Alert), Diebold, and NetApp rely on the Axeda Platform to power their M2M/connected product solutions. With cloud-based delivery, it reduces complexity and provides key capabilities such as: condition monitoring, content management, location-based services, business rules, secure communication, and enterprise system integration.

"Our alliance with DH Solutions provides a wide variety of hardware options and a unique set of M2M integration expertise for customers," said David Canavan, VP of Business Development at Axeda. "With capabilities for complicated tasks such as the development of device level control and computing, a significant amount of complexity is taken out of the equation, enabling faster deployment for customers."

Founded in 1999, Digital Highway Wireless Solutions played a key role in the deployment of some of the first M2M solutions in North America. Today, with a team of Systems Engineers, Technicians and Carrier Network Specialists, DHWS offers capabilities as an M2M integrator across many verticals. It assists customers and partners in the design, deployment and support of M2M technologies throughout the years.

Axeda Corporation released cloud platform and applications to enable manufacturers, solution providers, and system integrators to rapidly connect, build, and manage powerful machine to machine (M2M) applications for connected products. More than 150 of the world's leading enterprises, including Agilent, Diebold, and EMC, rely on Axeda's VeriSign (News - Alert) Security certified solutions.

In related news, Axeda Corporation, a provider of cloud platform and applications, is using its M2M technology to support one of its own employees as she cycles to raise money for cancer research. Leslie Baker is an Axeda technical support engineer who will ride in honor of her late father.
