Numerex Recognized as M2M Connected Device Leader by Connected World Magazine


As a leading single source provider of secure machine-to-machine (M2M) products and services, Numerex (News - Alert) Corp was listed among the top “CW 100” by Connected World magazine. The prestigious international list recognizes companies based on their impact on the growing M2M market and Numerex got selected because of their innovative next generation M2M solutions.

According to Peggy Smedley who is the editorial director for Connected World, the world market is undergoing an evolution towards connected devices which is marked by the Numerex offerings of advanced M2M products and services delivering a range of customer needs and requirement. In a release, Smedley said that, “The endless demand that we are currently seeing for connected devices, across multiple verticals, has a significant effect on the level of competition we will see in the marketplace. In order to stay competitive, companies must display considerable innovation, strength, and staying-power, traits you can find throughout the CW 100.”

As the first to receive an ISO 27001 certification for information security in North America, Numerex allows for rapid deployment of secured fully scalable solutions using a single point of contact to any market worldwide. Although Numerex operates in the business-to-business market, it mostly deals with customers such as dealers, distributors and other businesses that serve the end-user market. To be included in the Connected World magazines ‘CW 100’ list, hundred of private and publicly traded firms are judged based on sales and earning growth, contribution to the connected devices space and innovative products deployed during the past 12 months. Other criterion includes annual revenue of more than $10 million as well as good market reputation. Numerex offerings including hardware Devices, Network services, and software Applications enable customers to build efficient, reliable and secure solutions that allows remote monitoring and asset management, using simplified business processes and comprehensive integration services.
