TMC (News - Alert) and Crossfire Media have announced that the M2M Evolution Conference is returning to ITEXPO, Feb. 2 to 4, 2011, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The latest installment of M2M Evolution identifies the market opportunities for one of the fastest growing segments of the telecommunications industry. 

The M2M industry is expected to reach $300 billion in the year ahead, with more than 38 billion devices currently connected across the healthcare, manufacturing, security, transportation, and general IT industries. As machines continue to become connected, the wireless world represents a substantial growth opportunity for data communications. M2M Evolution outlines the requirements, and presents the strategies that carriers and device manufacturers are adopting in order to capitalize on these opportunities.

A keynote presentation, scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 2, will address how M2M is driving mass-marketing campaigns. This session, which features a panel of marketing experts, will reveal how 2D barcodes and connected digital signs are being used to catch our attention, and persuade our purchases.
