The innovative products and solutions of Oberthur Technologies received two prestigious 2010 Sesames Awards in Best Transportation Application and Best Mobility Solution categories.
Sesames Awards recognizes the latest innovations for the digital security and smart card industries.
Transportation
A contactless antenna inside the card’s contact module is directly integrated by Voox. The robustness and reliability of dual interface cards is significantly enhanced by this innovation, while lowering the impact on the environment.
Mobility
A complete and turnkey solution that allows the rapid deployment of mobile contactless services such as payment, transport and loyalty programs is now offered by Oberthur Technologies’ NFC. It has already been selected by four major actors participating in the first commercial deployment in France, “Nice, NFC City.”

On Dec. 6, in Paris, the Sesames Awards ceremony took place. The Sesames are an industry-wide acknowledgement for the most innovative products and solutions in the field of smart card technology. Oberthur Technologies has won the Sesames for innovations in 1999, 2000, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 and was nominated for four different products this year.
