SensorLogic, Inc., a premier service delivery platform provider for machine-to-machine (M2M) applications, appointed Ric Murray as senior vice president of Sales and Business Development.
At Jasper Wireless (News - Alert), a worldwide leader in carrier platforms for M2M solutions, Murray, most recently served as the Vice President of International Business Development. In addition to Murray’s appointment, the company also has named Paul Henderson the vice president of Marketing and Product Management.
Murray brings more than 25 years of experience in business development for carrier solutions to his new role. Before working for Jasper Wireless, he worked at Cingular (News
- Alert) Wireless and SBC, Inc., now AT&T where he served as Vice President – National Wholesale for Cingular Wireless leading the development and operations of Cingular’s wholesale reseller business. He has also worked as head of Emerging Channels responsible for the development and support of new distribution channels including wholesale, national prepaid distribution, telematics and indirect e-commerce.
Prior to Cingular, Murray spent seven years in SBC’s international group where he last served as Director for International Business Development. He, during this time was Head of Sales & Marketing for the second mobile GSM license start-up in Switzerland and a member of the start-up team at SFR (News - Alert), the second GSM operator in France, where he was assigned to the sales and distribution group.

In related news, SensorLogic, Inc has announced that application developers can now create asset tracking applications by cutting and pasting two lines of JavaScript code from any of its pre-built Widgets onto any Web page.
