The Pandigital Photo Mail Digital Photo Frame is a next-generation, wirelessly connected digital photo frame that conveniently displays photos emailed from family and friends. The frame is connected over Rogers’ reliable network and will be available in Canada early next year.

“We are excited to work with Rogers to provide customers in Canada with a simple and affordable product that lets them share and enjoy digital images with family and friends via email to a digital photo frame,” said John Clough, president of Pandigital, in a statement.

Officials with Pandigital said that the new Pandigital Photo Mail Digital Photo Frame is incredibly simple to use. Customers can share the frame’s dedicated email address with family and friends so they can send photos directly to the frame from their own email account, whether it’s from a computer or wireless device.

According to company officials, upon receiving new photos via email, the recipient can quickly accept and view them. In an instant, consumers can enjoy photos taken by friends, family or even themselves, without leaving their home.

Company officials said that the Photo Mail Digital Photo Frame is the latest machine to machine (M2M) device to be connected through Rogers M2M QuickLink, an online wireless platform that is designed to provide manufacturers like Pandigital and other service providers with access to Rogers network assets and SIM-card provisioning.

Officials with Rogers Communications (News - Alert) said that Rogers M2M QuickLink, which is powered by the globally-recognized GSM platform from Jasper Wireless, provides the backend tools needed for manufacturers and service providers to quickly connect and manage their devices.

"Canadians are looking for new ways to stay connected to family and friends, colleagues and customers like they never have before and we are excited to work with companies like Pandigital to deliver these experiences to them,” said Mansell Nelson, vice president of M2M and Partners of Rogers Communications.

Nelson said that as the provider of choice in Canada, the company is powering all points of connection for M2M solutions to bring emerging devices such as the Pandigital Photo Mail Digital Photo Frame to Canadians.
