To improve the onboard driving experience of a wide range of vehicles, including cars, light commercial vehicles and trucks, Accenture will help develop and manage Magneti Marelli’s digital entertainment and communication solutions and services. Magneti Marelli designs and manufactures high-tech systems and components for the automotive sector. To provide an unparalleled body of automotive industry knowledge and experience, Accenture will utilize its global network of Automotive Solution.
Magneti Marelli designs and produces advanced systems and components for the automotive industry. The group supplies all the leading carmakers in Europe, North and South America and the Far East.
“Accenture has developed a strong and productive relationship with Magneti Marelli,” stated Marcello Tamietti, a senior executive for Accenture Automotive in a press release. “This agreement will allow us to help the company offer drivers and passengers a huge range of new and innovative services in their vehicles, from infomobility and entertainment services, safety and security solutions, to car maintenance and e-commerce services.”
Magneti Marelli’s ability to serve the in-vehicle infotainment and telematics global market will now be served in the area of embedded software and deep automotive industry knowledge. This agreement also allows a useful integration between the company’s technological know-how and Accenture’s expertise in the field of service software platforms. Accenture Automotive Solution Centers are based in Hyderabad, India; Turin, Italy; Shanghai, China; and Detroit, in the United States.
