Toyota has selected Tweddle Group, a provider of owner communications, technology and supply chain solutions for automotive OEMs, as Tier 1 connected services provider for Entune.

Toyota Entune leverages the customer’s mobile phone to create a rich in-vehicle experience that offers fully integrated and upgradeable entertainment, navigation, and information services.

Tweddle Group has partnered with market leaders to develop the Toyota Entune multimedia system over the last few months. Toyota Entune was honored with 2 prestigious awards by Popular Mechanics as Editor’s Choice Gadget and Cnet Best of CES (News - Alert) as a result of working closely with its partners. These awards acknowledge Tweddle’s achievements as key supplier for the Toyota Entune system, the company has stated in a press release.

In April 2009, UIEvolution, a software solutions company, partnered with Tweddle Group to develop personalized user experiences for vehicle owners through their mobile devices. The companies established UIE Automotive to extend its myCar application for the next generation of automotive telematics and mobile services.
