Craig Steen, president of Clear2there, will speak at the M2M Evolution Event, collocated with ITEXPO (News - Alert) East 2011, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Officials with Clear2there said that Steen will be participating in the session “Seeing is Believing: Video Surveillance”, scheduled for Feb. 3, where he will provide a view into the growing market for integration of video with other communications technology to increase effectiveness of M2M deployments.
“M2M is moving beyond surveillance and into integrated communications,” said Steen, in a statement.
He said that Clear2there has seen significant market interest from service providers seeking to step up from video monitoring to incorporate two-way communications and integrated M2M capabilities using a single platform.
Steen said that many are also looking to leverage the economic benefits and flexibility offered by cloud-based solutions.
“Clear2there is expanding the boundaries for M2M technologies, which should certainly generate a lot of interest among our conference participants,” said Carl Ford (News - Alert), M2M Evolution Conference host.
Ford said that it is clear that the marketplace is constantly redefining M2M, and Clear2there is helping shape these conversations through its deployments of broadly integrated technologies.
