In order to guarantee accessibility, Kapsys has embedded state-of-the-art voice-recognition and speech-synthesis technologies. This allows users to control the application exclusively by vocal commands. The objective is to achieve total and user-friendly access for the visually impaired.

The application features integrated localization and voice-driven navigation services for pedestrians, which can be accessed at any time. Functionality includes: a smart voice-driven navigation tool (pedestrian navigation, with or without public transport, road-book function, etc.), and a free navigation option that helps users get a real-time description of what is around them. In addition the application includes a premium points-of-interest database, containing thousands of pre-recorded addresses such as chemists, police stations, hospitals, restaurants, and so on.
