Wi-Ex, a provider of consumer and commercial cell phone signal boosters, announced the expansion of its commercial, corporate and machine-to-machine solutions.

By leveraging the zBoost line of M2M solutions, users can take full advantage of data, voice and Internet services on any of their devices, company officials said.

“The expansion of our corporate, machine-to-machine and commercial solutions are in direct response to our customers and the changes in the industry,” said Lloyd R. Meese, CEO of Wi-Ex, in a statement.

“The rapid adoption of smartphones including iPhones and BlackBerry (News - Alert), tablets and other connected devices has caused a shift in the way businesses operate,” Meese added. “From M2M applications to large commercial complexes to the rising number of teleworks, the zBoost line provides a business-centric solution for improving poor in-door cell phone coverage.”

Wi-Ex announced the zBoost Corporate Program to enable organizations to maximize in-door cell phone coverage for the enterprise. The zBoost Corporate Program includes main unit volume discount, extended guarantees and special accessory pricing.

The zBoost Commercial Solutions Division assists building managers and contractors to provide their customers with indoor cell phone coverage. The program is designed for large signal-challenged buildings. The program includes a dedicated team of Wi-Ex engineers who work to create a custom signal solution to enhance cellular coverage.

The M2M division provides M2M solutions for key markets including consumer facing point-of-sale devices such as kiosks, vending machines and ATMs, mobile data collection, health and medical monitoring and industrial machine-to-machine communications.

Wi-Ex manufactures and distributes zBoost line of cell phone signal extenders for home, office or car. The zBoost product line works with most carriers in the U.S. and abroad including AT&T, Sprint (News - Alert), Vodafone, Verizon and T-Mobile.

In September 2010, Wi-Ex announced the launch of its new zBoost CI YX745. The zBoost CI YX745 is designed to meet the needs of commercial spaces and large homes and is sold exclusively to custom installers. The zBoost CI YX745 is also included in the new zBoost CEDIA/CI Installer Kit.
