Sixnet, a provider of machine-to-machine (M2M) networking solutions for industrial markets, announced its partnership with Welotec, Germany’s suppliers of data communication solutions, radio remote controls and sensors.
Welotec will distribute Sixnet (News - Alert) industrial Ethernet switches and automation solutions throughout Germany, adding to the company’s existing portfolio of connectivity offerings. Welotec has a wide network of sales and distribution channels.
“Welotec has been in business for more than 40 years by focusing on bringing our customers superior products, combined with the highest degree of service and support,” said Reinhard Lülff, CEO of Welotec, in a statement.
“The addition of Sixnet allows us to easily expand our existing product portfolio with a strong set of industrial switch and automation products, which gives us the ability to create more customized solutions for our customers,” Lülff added.
Sixnet offers several products, offering solution for many of business-critical industrial applications. Its industrial networking solutions are designed for harsh, outdoor and remote environments in industries that include power, oil and gas, transportation, video and security, military, mobile data, maritime and others.

Recently, Sixnet announced IndustrialPro Plus as the latest addition to the company’s industrial cellular router product line. Sixnet will rely on the IndustrialPro Plus to bridge together Sixnet’s core automation, wireless and switch competencies to deliver to remote connectivity to Modbus-enabled devices in harsh environments.
