Laird Technologies Signs Farnell to Distribute Wireless M2M Products in Europe


Laird Technologies (News - Alert), a provider of customized performance-critical components and systems for electronics and wireless products, announced it signed Farnell as its European distributor for its wireless and M2M products.

Laird Technologies’ wireless M2M product solutions include radio modules, ZigBee radio modules, Bluetooth radio modules and WLAN radio modules.

A leading multi-channel, high service distributor, Farnell supports engineers and purchasing professionals with products such as electronic components and industrial products. Farnell’s multi-channel approach includes fully transactional Web sites, contact centers, field sales force, trade counters, branch network, catalogs and direct mail.

“Laird Technologies is very excited to be signing Farnell as a European distributor for its wireless and M2M products,” said Ketan Patel, European Sales and Distribution manager, Telematics & Wireless M2M, Laird Technologies, in a statement.

“A wide range of ordering options allows Farnell to easily supply OEMs, system integrators, and designers with Laird Technologies’ wireless modules that suit all price ranges,” Patel added.

Laird Technologies offers high-performance wireless modules utilizing Bluetooth technology, as well as integrated antennas and electronic components. The company’s broad selection of M2M products provides solutions for the automotive, telematics, healthcare, EPOS, retail, finance, and security, as well as asset management markets.
