TMC and Crossfire Media announced that the M2M Evolution Conference taking place at ITEXPO (News - Alert) on September 13-15 is expanding with a B2B focus.
As part of the new focus, M2M Evolution will examine the strategies and technological requirements that businesses and carriers need. The conference will focus on the intersection of technology, regulatory issues, end user applications, and the ROI associated with M2M technology.
“We’ve learned much in the three previous iterations of the M2M Evolution Conference, and we’re using this experience to develop an event that presents the subject matter that businesses care about the most,” said Crossfire Media’s Carl Ford (News - Alert), in a statement.
“Our September show will present case studies and deployment stories from companies that are using M2M technology on a daily basis to improve their customer service, enhance their brands, and ultimately improve their bottom lines,” Ford added.
TMC (News - Alert), Crossfire Media, and Conference Chair and Nikki Cuban of OnAsset Intelligence, have redesigned the conference content to address a wider range of M2M subjects.
The M2M Evolution Conference will focus on many topics.
The first topic is “M2M is Here and Now” where the world’s leading analysts will come together to provide their perspective on the real story behind M2M’s coming of age.
The topic, “The Value Is Guaranteed! Insuring M2M” shares the insurance industry’s view on using M2M to protect the supply chain.
“Asset Management via Land, Air and Sea” reveals M2M solutions that can be implemented across all environments.
“Security, Recovery and Risk Management” identifies technology and relationships needed to monitor and protect assets against accidents, crimes, and forces of nature.
“Testing your Compliance IQ” presents a myriad of compliance requirements and identifies solutions to address them.
“Extending M2M via Integrators” discusses the role of the integrator and identifies best practices across the entire supply chain.
Under the topic “Going Mobile with the M2M Message” a panel of operators will discuss how they solve problems across specific markets.
“The Hidden Value of Embedded M2M” identifies ways to expand relationships with shippers to gain more “sense” about deliveries.
According an ABI Research study, as 3G gains more significance, the cellular M2M communication market will be worth $3.8 billion in 2015. There were indications of an upward path, but the modest growth in shipments would not be sufficient to ensure revenue levels to increase those of 2007.
