RACO Wireless is a well known provider of wireless data solutions to the M2M industry and has been a T-Mobile (News
- Alert) partner for ten years. As part of its growth strategy, RACO Wireless has appointed John Horn as its new president.
John Horn, formerly national director of M2M for T-Mobile, served the company for nine years before transferring to RACO Wireless, which has been designated as the T-Mobile preferred M2M provider for wireless connectivity on the T-Mobile network.
Horn hopes to accomplish the same innovation and growth in the M2M space at RACO Wireless that he achieved in the M2M business at T-Mobile. He is regarded as being chiefly instrumental for the growing M2M business in his former company. RACO Wireless is expected to benefit immensely from the expertise and skill that Horn will bring.
“John Horn is an outspoken evangelist and visionary for the M2M industry and brings a decade of experience to RACO Wireless,” said Rob Adams (News - Alert), CEO of RACO Wireless, in a press release. “With his experience and our expertise and technology platform, we will continue to expand on T-Mobile’s goal of being the easiest to do business with in the M2M space.”
In 2001, RACO Industries (News - Alert) ventured into the wireless industry with the formation of RACO Wireless and in 2006, T-Mobile launched its new telemetry program and selected RACO Wireless to handle the M2M application. It is currently one of the most senior National Premier Master Dealers in the T-Mobile Value Added Reseller (VAR) channel.
