Octo Telematics recently announced its entry into the US marketplace. This Italian-based company, which specializes in the provision of telematics services and systems for the insurance and automotive market, has announced the selection of Telenor (News - Alert) Connexion as its global provider of embedded connectivity.

The agreement enables Octo Telematics to use one standardized connectivity solution for multiple markets including an online service portal and APN/VPN.
