Sequoia Technology announced that the recent acquisition of Motorola M2M by Telit Wireless (News - Alert) Solutions has been closed.
The closure of the acquisition has given Sequoia Technology the rights to actively promote the Telit MOT units in the UK M2M market. Telit MOT has two core product families, the G24 and G30.
The Telit G24 module is a quad band device (850/900/1800/1900Mhz). Benefiting from its compact size, it is perfect for high volume, low cost applications. The Telit G24 includes embedded TCP/IP and extended RF sensitivity, control/status indicators such as 8 x GPIO, 3 x A/D general purpose convertors and antenna presence detect.
On the other hand, the Telit G30 module is a surface mount device allowing users to benefit from its small dimensions and cost effective design due to its Land Grid Array (LGA) form factor. LGA allows efficient and scalable manufacturing, making the G30 the perfect choice for an M2M application such as AMR, security and ePOS.
Sequoia was recently in the news when it entered a U.K distribution agreement with Telematics. According to a recent press release, Sequoia Technology, the Berkshire based technology solutions company, has entered a U.K distribution agreement with Telematics and Wireless M2M module manufacturer, Laird Technology.
With more than 20 years experience, Sequoia Technology Group Ltd. is an independently owned technology solutions specialist in the field of Telemetry and Wireless M2M modules, terminals and antennas. The company successfully offers leading edge technology for a diverse customer base and includes divisions in Silicon, HD Video and Sensor systems.
