- Alert), Inc., a provider of smart connectivity solutions that enable cloud-based access to any device, anywhere, anytime, has launched the first Lantronix ecommerce store, at www.lantronixstore.com.
According to a press release, the comprehensive ecommerce site offers more than 200 Lantronix products including our award-winning SLC, EDS1100/2100 and SpiderDuo for direct purchase in the United States. Initially, the new Lantronix store will sell more than 200 Lantronix products, designed to solve technology and business issues ranging from device connectivity to remote access management. To accommodate international demand and wider markets, the company will launch a later release of its ecommerce solution in 2012. Easy to integrate and deploy, Lantronix products remotely connect and control electronic equipment via the Internet, provide secure remote access to firewall-protected equipment, and enable remote management of IT equipment over the Internet.
"We believe a global ecommerce solution plays a key role in establishing ourselves as a leader in machine-to-machine (M2M) and cloud-based connectivity solutions, and is critical to our ability to scale the company while still providing superior customer service," said Mark Tullio, Senior Director of Marketing at Lantronix. "We are thrilled to kick off our new fiscal year by expanding our commercial footprint with ecommerce in an effort to continuously improve customer loyalty and satisfaction."
Additionally, the site will also streamline the ordering and fulfillment processes. Offering multi-currency and multi-language support, Lantronix will offer an expansion of the number of Lantronix products available. Founded in 1989, Lantronix will continue to work with existing and new distribution partners and VARs on larger order fulfillment. The company serves some of the largest medical, security, industrial and building automation, transportation, retail/POS, financial, government, consumer electronics/appliances, IT/data center and pro-AV/signage entities in the world.
In other company news, TMCnet reported that Lantronix announced that Germany-based Eusotec has selected Lantronix' technology to develop its own flagship product, the “Mini-Data Logger and Web Server.”
