Numerex (News - Alert), a provider of secure machine-to-machine (M2M) products and services, announced a new partner program.
The partner program enables hardware and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to bring down the prices of their smart devices, modules, and modems by embedding Numerex network technology through a credit-based program.
“As Numerex develops an increasing number of integrated relationships with its strategic partners, it makes sense to accompany this effort with incentives which benefit both the supply chain and the end user,” said Michael Marett, chief operating officer of Numerex, in a statement.
“By putting in place a framework where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, we believe we create an appealing value proposition for our partners and their customers,” Marett added.
Currently, the company is offering the program to all Numerex OEM hardware partners. A number of promotional initiatives will be launched to support the program.
Leveraging the Rebate Program, OEMs will be able to create savings for their customers with a pass-through credit offered by Numerex when sold in conjunction with Numerex network services. OEM customers activating their devices on the Numerex wireless network will receive activation credit, reducing their module or modem cost.
Recently, Numerex and Enfora (News - Alert), a Novatel Wireless company for wireless networking, announced a partnership with Intelligent Global Pooling Systems to monitor its all-plastic pallets with embedded RFID tags.
Numerex and Enfora associated with iGPS development teams to bring solutions integrated with iGPS tracking and tracing capabilities. iGPS operates pallet rental service offering shippers and receivers with all-plastic pallets with embedded RFID tags.
