DDS Wireless International, a provider of dispatch and fleet management solutions for large fleets, announced that its business unit, DDS eFleet Services, has signed subscription contracts for more than $600,000.
The company added three new customers in the limousine industry operating substantial fleets in the U.S Midwest, Northeast and the South. DDS Wireless International has also signed contracts with existing customers to add subscriptions to accommodate growth in their fleets, as well as the renewal of contracts for extended terms.
DDS Wireless thinks these contract wins are important to the company's strategy for future growth. The company is looking at building its presence in small and mid-size fleet segments and in verticals outside of its core taxi and transit markets. These new businesses will also serve to build on the company's already significant base of recurring revenue, according to a company statement.
The company offers the eFleet fleet management and dispatch solution on subscription basis. As a hosted system, it is complemented by the company's TaxiBook solution targeted at small and mid-sized taxi fleets.
These rapidly deployed, turn-key solutions are ideally suited to serving the needs of small and mid-sized fleets, a very large market segment which is underserved by fleet management and dispatch solutions.
Recently, DDS Wireless announced that its Digital Dispatch Systems and eFleet business units signed six contracts for their TaxiBook and eFleet Bundled Subscription Solutions for more than $700,000. Winning business in underserved markets is important to DDS' strategy of extending its reach. Small fleet operators comprise over 80 percent of taxi fleets in North America.
