This series in the Peggy Smedley Show is designed to illustrate how several different types of first responders applying M2M technology to handle the emergency situations. Each 30-minute interview will highlight a first responder and the M2M technology partner that empowers its potentially life-saving solution.

Professionals from the fire, police, and ambulance and few others will be invited to the talk show. The interviews will be published in the Jan/Feb issue of Connected World magazine, the show officials revealed in a press release.

In any kind of emergencies such as fire break out, a burglar attack or heart attack, at home or at workplace, the first thing people do is to call up first responders for help.

Today’s first responders are increasingly relying on M2M (machine-to-machine) technology for the faster and more effective handling of the critical situations.

The M2M technology eliminates the risk of reaching the spot late. Connected devices and solutions make the real time communication more effective and hence the M2M technologies are increasingly being adopted by agencies and companies that seek to provide the best quality services to the public

Antonio Ransom, founder of Aridhio Technologies and Doug Higgs, owner of Florida Fire Service will be the first ones to be interviewed on the Peggy Smedley Show. Discussion will focus on Aridhio Technology’s solution, automating the process of performing fire-protection services and installations.

“Connected devices can help consumers get from point A to point B. The same technology applied to a public-service solution can help an ambulance find an injured person, or help a fire truck find a fire. M2M technology applied in life-critical situations is an increasingly important arm of the industry; it helps all types of first responders communicate, navigate, and most of all, respond more efficiently to the situation at hand,” Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Connected World magazine, and host of The Peggy Smedley Show, commented in a press release.
