AmeriQuest and SkyBitz Sign Value Added Reseller (VAR) Partner Agreement


AmeriQuest, a provider of comprehensive fleet management services, has signed a Value Added Reseller (VAR) partner agreement with SkyBitz (News - Alert), a provider of remote asset management solutions. By becoming a VAR partner, AmeriQuest can offer the most powerful and complete set of asset management solutions from SkyBitz to its members associated with the transportation industry.

AmeriQuest claimed that it has several technology offerings to provide users with the tools they need to manage and optimize their fleet. Routing and scheduling software, mobile resource management tools, delivery solutions, and fleet management software are all available to ensure that a company’s vehicles and drivers are operating with maximum efficiency. Through the newly signed agreement, members of AmeriQuest will supposedly receive solutions and services for locating, monitoring, and managing assets for improved utilization, efficiencies and a lower total cost of ownership.

SkyBitz explained that it employs a range of remote asset tags and associated intelligent sensors to monitor and report the location and the condition of trailers or intermodal containers, onboard equipment and cargo. The flexibility and adaptability of SkyBitz solutions drive more informed decision making and operational processes.

AmeriQuest added that SkyBitz has established a reputation for addressing the difficult challenge of reliable unpowered remote asset visibility, optimization and management, with a broad set of solutions and solid customer support. The company is excited to offer the SkyBitz solutions to help its members be competitive by optimizing their existing resources while cutting costs.

Officials with SkyBitz stated that with their U.S. distributor network in place, they are focused on signing additional premier partners like AmeriQuest to help deliver SkyBitz asset management solutions into the top vertical markets for global supply chain management. They are excited about the first major sale and look forward to continuing to work with AmeriQuest to further increase their share of the transportation market.
