The VCI solution delivers a superior solution that helps address these business needs.”
VCI is a hybrid solution that relies on the power, flexibility and efficiency of cloud-based technology to offer a secure, cost-effective M2M platform. The platform boasts command and control capabilities, two-way VoIP communications, video surveillance, sensor monitoring, and geofencing, as well as supporting both automated and manual responses.
VCI is delivered as a monthly service that requires no activation costs, and can be implemented through low-cost edge devices such as laptops and netbooks, according to officials. VCI supports both Java Script and HTTP APIs, giving legions of developers a low-barrier, solid and sustainable platform on which to write new applications.
Earlier this year at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East 2011 in Miami, Clear2There’s President Craig Steen spoke with TMCnet about what it means for the company that it is now a master distributor for Viewbiquity products.
“The distribution will really enhance our whole overall offering, first and foremost with video surveillance,” Steen said. “It’s going to give us a positioning with some new channels that are out there, service providers – both wired and wireless providers – as well as really strengthen our existing channel distribution with the ability to sell more hardware and other software type solutions.”
In just a few days at ITEXPO West 2011 in Austin, Texas, attendees will be able to learn more about what’s going on in the M2M space by attending M2M Evolution, “the event that is everything M2M.” M2M Evolution is aimed at any company that is looking to utilize the wireless network to extend control over their supply chain, product development, and distribution channels.
