In a release, Garrison Macri, vice president of sales and general manager for the Americas at Comverse said, “We’re pleased to be supporting Cycle30’s efforts in the emergent M2M services market. With cloud and M2M on the cusp of phenomenal expansion worldwide, Comverse BSS is leading the way with the proven functionality and flexibility required to enable customers to ride this wave of emerging revenue opportunities.”

Comverse BSS solutions are already prominent in the telco sphere. An increasing variety of additional industries are now deploying Comverse BSS solutions. New types of services and real-time data events can be therefore monetized by these industries. They can also share revenues with partners using Comverse BSS solutions.

James Dunlap, president and general manager of Cycle30 said, “Comverse BSS technology has proven itself both flexible and powerful time and again at rating and billing usage-based products and services across the communications and utility service provider arenas.”

According to Dunlap, massive amounts of real-time data can be handled by Comverse BSS technology. Flexible M2M billing services for its customers across dozens of other industries can be therefore created by Cycle30.

The Cycle30 hosted rating-and-billing platform which is deployed to M2M market customers, will now include the Comverse BSS solution. A customer agreement with a Fortune 200 company was recently announced by Cycle30. Hosted rating and billing services in the M2M electronics industry will be provided by Cycle30 to the company.

A hosted order-to-cash billing service platform is provided by the GCI (News - Alert) Company, Cycle30 Inc. Communications, utility and M2M service operators will find the platform beneficial.

In other news, Comverse and Cycle30 recently announced that the cable TV services provided by Alaska's largest telecommunications and cable provider have been converted to Cycle30's hosted billing platform, powered by Comverse BSS. The cable conversion completes the migration of all of GCI's consumer services, cable, wireless, wireline and Internet to Cycle30's hosted order-to-cash solution, based on Comverse BSS, and allows the decommissioning of a legacy system. The fully converged approach allows GCI to support interaction opportunities. The Comverse-based platform offers improved customer experience, better control, and more choice.
