ClearConnex Announces Near Completion of ClearLink Solution for Future Proofing M2M Application Development

ClearConnex, an innovative wireless embedded engineering services firm, announced that its pioneering ClearLink solution, for simplifying and future proofing Machine-to-Machine application development is in its final stages of development. The company made this announcement in light of its on-going support for reducing the complexities involved in the development of M2M applications. Leveraging ClearLink, customers will now be able to get started on creating systems that employ M2M embedded wireless modules without the need for comprehensive understanding of the wireless technology used such as WiFi, Satellite, CDMA, GSM or 2G, 3G and 4G.

Whether customers use wireless modules from Centerion, Huawei, Sierra Wireless (News - Alert), or Telit, by leveraging the ClinkLink module Application Programmer Interface (API), they will be able to create programs easily using any wireless module over a single universal interface. Furthermore, applications that have been developed in the ClearLink API will require very little or close to no re-work during the shift from 2G to 4G. And because ClearLink has been based on ClearOS, the applications utilizing ClearLink can function on any operating system and processor.

In a release, Ryan Rangel, ClearConnex CTO, said that, “With cellular networks changing so fast, you don’t want to rewrite applications from scratch every time a wireless module goes end of life or the carriers change to the next generation of technology. With ClearLink, your application can support any wireless technology generation. It’s why ClearComm, our wireless device platform, will be built on ClearLink and ClearOS by the end of the year. Combine Start Ahead building blocks like ClearLink with our Finish Ahead Engineering Services. Everybody wins.”

Headquartered in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, ClearConnex is an innovative wireless embedded engineering company that offers customers with cutting-edge product platforms, robust engineering services, and strategic industry alliances.
