Parvus has a long history of serving systems integrators and defense contractors with rugged embedded computer products. It has won accolades from Utah's largest business networking organization, Mountain West Capital Network and has been ranked as one of Utah's 100 fastest growing companies.
"Parvus' success can be attributed to developing cost-effective solutions that meet the military's specific requirements for Size, Weight and Power," said Parvus President Les Goodman, in a press release.
Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert conferred the honor on Parvus at an awards ceremony at the Grand American Hotel. Parvus, no stranger to awards, has won the same recognition from the same organization for the third consecutive year.
Thousands of applicants representing a wide spectrum of industry vie for a place in the Utah 100 list, which is determined by the 'percentage of revenue increases from 2006-2010.
According to company officials, Parvus' continued presence on the Utah 100 list is a testament to its unique offerings and the increasing deployment of Parvus solutions in all areas of the military. In addition, its ability to identify customer needs and come up with products that largely satisfy the current and anticipated requirements has increased its status as a 'preferred supplier in the military and defense market.'
A subsidiary of the Eurotech Group, Parvus claims that it has regularly come up with a complete line of rugged commercial-off-the-shelf embedded computer boards and enclosures that have provided reliable command, control, computing and communication capabilities in various military and naval installations.
