M2M (Machine to Machine) allows communication between wireless and wired systems. ProtectCell, a company in handset protection, and Digital Highway Wireless Solutions, a M2M systems integrator, have joined forces to bring M2M clients a first – a cost-effective 3rd party extended warranty and fast replacement of machine devices.
ProtectCell safeguards consumers’ wireless lifestyles by offering valuable benefits and protection alternatives to limited warranties and standard insurance. DH Wireless Solutions offers solutions on grids, highways, pipelines, offices, rails and manufacturing facilities across North America since 1999.
In a press release, Brian Rosema, vice president of sales and marketing at DH Wireless Solutions said, “We knew there was a need in M2M for an extended service program. We approached ProtectCell because they are well-respected in the wireless protection industry. Their operating system is state-of-the-art and we’re proud to offer our clients this added value, We’ll be able to replace those mission critical machines in 24 hours or less - guaranteed. That’s a huge benefit to our clients.”
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this incredibly fast-growing sector. Now when machines fail in the field, they’ll be replaced quickly and efficiently. We’re extremely selective in choosing our partners, and when the opportunity to work with DH Wireless Solutions presented itself, we jumped at the chance,” says Bryan Finnerty, CEO and co-founder of ProtectCell.
Research from Compass (News - Alert) Intelligence shows that “the next-generation M2M and connected device market will reach 87 million endpoints by 2015. The research states that compound annual growth rate of M2M is over 25 percent” creating incredible growth potential for both DH Wireless Solutions and ProtectCell.
