M2M connectivity service provider Eseye has opened a new office in the Connecticut-New York area, complementing the staff in the U.K. and European offices.
Eseye officials said that they have opened this new office to meet the company’s growth and customer requirements. This year, Eseye experienced rapid growth in its smart metering business in the U.S., and these new customers require metering devices to be installed all over the world. With this new office, Eseye can offer the “fit once, connect anywhere” solution that customers require.
Paul Marshall, COO at Eseye, said ‘We are really excited by the success we have had in the US with our AnyNet SIM and the freedom to switch network operator that gives to the customer. Our Embedded SIMs or Chip SIMs have also been very well received over here because we can tailor their specification to provide precisely the value added services demanded by the customer’s M2M applications. Opening an office in the U.S. will give us a base to really build on this success as well as provide more personal technical and commercial support to our customers here.”
The company introduced AnyNet SIMs back in May last year, which was available in the traditional card or the more robust chip form that can be configured to work across multiple networks and offer continued service should one or more networks.
In addition to providing connectivity services for M2M; Eseye also offers advanced product engineering services, andoptimization, analysis and design expertise at all stages of product lifecycles are offered under the company's M2M+ portfolio. "We have been able to optimize some customer products by up to 80 percent in areas of network efficiency and battery performance" Ian Marsden, founder and CTO of Eseye, said.
