As a featured speaker at Oracle’s global launch for its Solaris 11 solution in New York City, Shafron not only illustrated how his company leverages Oracle Solaris 11 technology, but also presented how the company leverages Oracle’s default ZFS file system to develop the InfiniVi cloud storage architecture for its Viewbiquity Cloud Interface (VCI).

“It is a great privilege to have been invited to speak at this prestigious and well-publicized event,” added Shafron. “We are pleased that Oracle holds Viewbiquity in such high regard, and are happy to assist Oracle in the future as they continue to build awareness for their very innovative Solaris 11 solution.”

The Viewbiquity Cloud Interface (VCI) is an open architecture M2M platform service. This cloud-based M2M platform integrates multiple business processes, such as point-of-sale, energy management, voice and data communications, property management, security, transportation and logistics.

In addition, VCI delivers a fault-tolerant and highly reliable platform for users. It also allows creation and customization of market- and customer-specific applications that address core business requirements, through its accessible JavaScript APIs.

Precisely, the VCI cloud platform when combined with its powerful scripting interface allows organizations to create even the most complex integrated M2M solutions quickly and with minimum Total Cost of Ownership.

According to Viewbiquity, its cloud-based M2M platform facilitates organizations to connect devices, processes, applications, people, and other organizations.

In addition, the Solaris 11 is co-engineered with the Oracle Stack, features data at Cloud Scale with Oracle Solaris ZFS; ensures application investment protection; runs applications unchanged across Oracle Solaris releases; recompiles applications guaranteed to work on both SPARC and x86 systems; and more.

In other news, Viewbiquity recently announced that it is integrating Automated Data Layering capabilities into the Viewbiquity Cloud Interface (VCI), its cloud-based, open source M2M platform that seamlessly connects multiple business processes, such as property management, energy, voice, data and video communications, inventory management, IT infrastructure and tracking.

Through Automated Data Layering, VCI customers will have unencumbered access to view detailed sensor data in user-selectable increments and intervals, enabling comprehensive statistical analysis of system behavior and performance.
