To enable communication service providers to unleash the value of the network for their customers, Comverse (News - Alert), a company in BSS, value-added services, and mobile Internet, announced the success of this year's Vision Summits for Communication Service Providers (CSPs).
The company has customer base spans in more than 125 countries and covers over 450 communication service providers serving more than two billion subscribers. The company enables communication service providers to unleash the value of the network for their customers by making their networks smarter. Comverse's solutions support flexible deployment models, including in-network, cloud, hosted and managed services.
According to a press release, the initial Vision Summit was held November 7-9, 2011 in Rome, Italy; the Asia/Pacific (APAC) Vision Summit opened on November 28th in Phuket, Thailand.
The event is based on the theme "Telecom Landscape Evolution: Innovate, Collaborate and Monetize," and it offers inspiring and informative discussions with futurists, analysts, and industry experts from Comverse, CSPs and partners, tackling the major telecom issues of today. It throws insight about collaboration with over-the-top players, real-time data monetization, cloud, machine-to-machine, IP services, and more.
"Our market leadership encompasses more than just improving networks around the globe with industry-best solutions for converged BSS, mobile Internet and voice and messaging VAS," said Lionel Chmilewsky, Senior Vice President, Head of Customer Facing Group at Comverse. "True industry leadership is also founded on the development of a close and genuine relationship with CSPs. This requires effective communication: sharing expertise and forward-thinking vision -- and most important, listening attentively. These elements have been fundamental to the success of Comverse and our customers through the years."
