WhizNets, a company engaged in providing M2M embedded wireless solutions, Android (News - Alert) solutions and custom product development and testing in the area of communications, networking, automation, control and Android mobile systems, has launched a new business division, Mobile App Square.

In a press release, WhizNets clarified that Mobile App Square is going to work as a mobile application development house. The new company is going to utilize WhizNets’ mobile wireless development expertise.

With mobile devices becoming multi-functional, and with the growing importance of

thin clients and cloud computing, consumers look for smart and more competitive mobile applications that can efficiently use the mobile networks to access stored content, own generated content and use sensors on mobile devices to do innovative tasks of increasing knowledge, entertainment, security, safety and productivity. In a press release, WhizNets revealed that Mobile App Square will focus on creating mobile applications for multiple vertical sectors. Its applications are expected to fulfill requirements related to content management and location based applications using GPS, WiFi (News - Alert), 4G and Sensor technologies. The company is also going to develop enterprise business mobile application and mobile multimedia applications. The company plan to make innovative robust mobile application solutions for Android, iOS and Windows Mobile available at one place.

Last month WhizNets announced the availability of Serial to Wi-Fi Bridge, an enhancement to WhizNets wireless portfolio. Serial to Wi-Fi Bridge is a production ready embedded solution that connects systems running M2M applications to 802.11b/g/n wireless LANs and secures data from network attacks, the company explained in an earlier release.
