Borg Fleet Linked Edition is a module built onto Borg Fleet and it provides additional views and functionalities. It is most suitable for the dealer/supplier industry and is an improvement over Borg Fleet’s Web-based software-as-a-service. It employs proprietary technology to predict maintenance, streamline work orders, inventory and fuel management, resource allocation, repair and scheduling via real-time data collection and analytics.

The solution serves as a real-time, direct connection for a dealer/service provider up to the end-user fleet manager. This user-friendly interface enables parts and service requests to be handled through the system by a button click. It also manages all back office aspects like work orders, invoicing, service allocations and so on. It provides a constant link from which the dealer can advertise specials and market products directly to customers.

In the release, Chris Borg, CEO of BorgSolutions, pointed out that dealers and service providers are trying to increase service and parts sales as well as boost customer retention. BorgSolutions has created Borg Fleet Linked Edition to cater to this need. It provides a true link for dealers and service providers to communicate, in real-time with their customers, provide better service and increase sales and marketing opportunities.

Borg Fleet Linked Edition features facilities to receive parts and service requests through the system in real-time. Customers can provide necessary data through the system itself without going outside the system. Filling vendor request forms and making calls is made easy thereby reducing time of delivery of parts and vehicle service.

The dealer/service provider can keep track of all costs connected with parts request and maintenance service including third party invoicing and parts allocation.

Kirby Carpenter, president, Texana Machinery, a supplier/dealer signed on with Borg Fleet Linked Edition said that Borg Fleet Linked Edition enables the provision of better service to customers. Equipment can be monitored and downtime reduced by providing service and parts on a timely basis.
