OleumTech's H-Series Hard-Wired Sensors Now Available

OleumTech, a manufacturer of industrial automation systems, announced the availability of the H-Series hard-wired continuous level sensors. The newly released sensors are expected to add value to, and work along with, the currently available wireless liquid level transmitters.

The H-Series type digital level sensors are built utilizing established magnetostrictive technology. The sensors are mainly used in the oil & gas and food & beverage sectors, as well as in industries where level measuring applications require process control, leak detection or inventory control.

The H-Series sensors consume lower level of power and can be multi-dropped on a RS485 network offering modbus connection to a RTU or PLC controller. H-Series offers crucial performance and dependability by merging the lower power requisites with high resolution of 0.01” across full span.

Vrej Isa, chief operating officer at OleumTech, said that the new liquid level solution is ideal for short distance runs to the RTU or existing legacy installs where conduit and wiring is available.

“But it's the innovative packaging with the ease of installation that will set us apart from the competition,” Isa said.

The liquid level sensor is designed to provide product level, interface level and temperature measurements in almost all type of tank sizes up to 60 feet height. The availability of H-Series sensor in a sturdy stainless steel cover or supple PVDF wraps makes it convenient to measure liquid levels of crude oil, diesel, gasoline, kerosene, solvents, water and other types of liquids.

The H-Series sensors are manufactured for regular use in risky surroundings conforming to all the safety and legal prerequisites. OleumTech also provide an optional shielding board to lessen the voltage and power supplied to the sensor in risky places or combustible surroundings. The shielding boards also proffer additional guard to the level sensor against power surge and lightning strikes. The factory tested sensors are provided with 2 years guarantee.

OleumTech is engaged in manufacturing of industrial automation systems for several years now. The automation systems symbolize new concepts in remote monitoring and management in SCADA and telemetry usage.

The low cost systems are designed to allow fast and easy installation for the use of clients in the oil & gas, water & wastewater, industrial automation and process control segments.
