Alert), a leader in designing and manufacturing of the custom-made vital parts for wireless systems and sophisticated electronics applications, has announced the opening of its new wireless M2M design center at Bangalore, India.
The new wireless M2M design center will work in alliance with the other wireless M2M design centers of Laird Technology sited in the United Kingdom and United States. Starting of its Indian operation will enable Laird Technologies to recruit a larger number of brilliant and tech savvy work force easily.
The design center at Bangalore will be engaged in total end-to-end product development features such as hardware engineering, firmware development, and Quality Assurance. The simultaneous grouping of engineering resources from across the world is expected to benefit Laird Technologies in larger production turnout and reduced design period.
“This new center in Bangalore gives Laird Technologies scalable wireless M2M system design capabilities,” Randy Andreen, Laird Technologies Vice President/General Manager, Telematics & Wireless M2M, said.
“We are excited to leverage the team in Bangalore to expand our portfolio of wireless M2M products and support our growth in new vertical markets such as Telehealth,” Andreen added.
Laird Technology is engaged in the manufacture of critical wireless and superior electronic application products. The company leads the global markets in the design and manufacture of electromagnetic interference shielding, caloric management products, mechanical propulsion systems, and signal integrity parts, provides solutions for radio communication antennae and radio frequency units and systems.
Currently Laird Technologies operate from over 39 facilities located in 13 countries and manages a work force of 10,000 employees.
