Alert) Modules GmbH, a major player in the field of cellular M2M communication modules, have entered into a strategic partnership.
According to Deutsche Telekom (

Alert) officials, the cooperation focuses on the joint management of M2M customer projects and the sustainable development of the M2M marketplace.
The agreement will enable the two suppliers to pool vertical market know-how and systematically strengthen their position in the global M2M landscape. The partners intend to market innovative M2M products jointly from early next year.

Alert), said, adding that the company has enjoyed a close, successful partnership with Cinterion over many years.
“Cooperation with the market leader for cellular communication modules enriches our strong network of partners in the M2M sector, enabling us to meet our customers’ needs and provide them with an optimum portfolio of products and services,” Deutschmann said.
Deutsche Telekom and Cinterion will work more closely with Cinterion in future and being able to supply joint customers worldwide with compelling solutions.
Deutsche Telekom is an integrated telecommunications company with almost 150 million mobile customers, around 40 million fixed-network lines and over 17 million broadband lines as of June 30, 2009. Its product brands are T-Home, or fixed-network telephony, broadband Internet, T-Mobile and T-Systems (

“I am absolutely sure that Cinterion and Deutsche Telekom offer the market outstanding expertise by joining forces,” Norbert Muhrer, CEO Cinterion, said, adding that the companies will work together to make M2M solutions much less complicated, to reduce the total cost of ownership and cut the time to market and the customer.
