M2M Design Collaborates with Cinterion for Integration and Distribution in France


Cinterion Wireless Modules, a provider of cellular machine-to-machine communication modules, reportedly has partnered with France-based M2M Design, in order to integrate and distribute Cinterion-based machine-to-machine solutions in France.

According to a press release, M2M Design signed a Cinterion Technical Expertise Center contract. Under the terms of this partnership agreement, M2M Design will be able to directly access Cinterion’s sophisticated research and development resources - for integrating highly customized wireless solutions for customers that require advanced wireless communication technology.
 
Offering cellular M2Mcommunication modules, Cinterion Wireless (News - Alert) Modules combines unparalleled M2M engineering expertise and localized global customer support with a strong portfolio of high-quality GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSPA products.
 
Cinterion’ modules enable machines, equipment and vehicles to communicate over wireless networks, thereby facilitating enterprises to considerably cut costs and increase productivity as well as efficiency, officials said.
 
According to M2M Design, the company offers a complete range of services that support engineering projects -design, development, industrialization – and also distributes 3G / 3G+ solutions from Sierra Wireless (News - Alert) and DIGI International. The company primarily focuses on solutions that require high speed wireless connectively and applies its technical machine-to-machine know-how to customers wishing to optimize their 'time to market' and internal resources.
 
In a press release, Charles Chaussonnier, CEO of M2M Design, said, 'The combination of M2M Design’s high level skills and Cinterion’s market leading products and R&D resources will enable us to open new markets and give our clients access to advanced technology with cost optimized solutions.”
 
Jean-Michel Gaillard, director of Cinterion Wireless Modules, France, said that the partnership between both the companies will enable them to work collaboratively and offer M2M Design’s expertise to Cinterion’ customers whenever advanced developments are requested.
 
Cinterion products are used for industries such as remote maintenance and control; metering; payment systems; routers and gateways; security systems; health care; automotive and eToll; tracking and tracing; environmental monitoring and more. All the products of the company are carrier and FTA approved.
 
M2M Design is a subsidiary of Erco & Gener.
