They have the ability to support with manufacturing services from prototyping to full-scale production through partnership with the most trusted contract manufactures in the business.

The brainchild of president Stefan Lindvall, Connected Development, was created to address the complexities of the wireless development cycle. 'Often, companies trying to gain the advantages of wireless find the learning curve steep and expensive, just to get started,' Lindvall said, adding that having invested in product design, they were often overwhelmed by the certification process.

Commenting on Connected Development's role, Lindvall said that the entire process was simplified to such an extent, that entry barriers were eliminated, and wireless innovation was enabled.

Lindvall can proudly claim to have authored the successful establishment of new businesses, revenue growth and margin enhancement, and an enhanced capacity to expand customer and partner relationships. Spanning multiple disciplines at wireless and M2M companies, Connected Development has more than 20yearsof experience under its belt.

Alex Brisbourne, president and COO, KORE Telematics, the world's largest specialized M2M wireless service provider commended the role of Connected Development, and said that with new segments rapidly evolving, and practical realities of wireless enablement becoming more challenging for organizations who understood the needs of the segment, Connected efficiently bridged the gap by providing successful solutions, saved developers time and money, and benefited the entire industry as a whole.

Marc Eisenberg, CEO of ORBCOMM (News - Alert), the provider of global satellite and cellular data communications solutions purpose-built for M2M, said, 'All too often, we have seen ideas for connecting assets in new and exciting ways fail to make the jump from idea to finished product. We expect that having a firm like Connected Development on board will be a great asset in helping our partners bring their ideas to market.'

Eisenberg concurred with Lindvall on the important role that Connected Development played, by offering the industry the expertise to handle any or all of the processes required to proceed from concept to commercialization.

It is expected that Dave Hoover, Vice President, Research & Development and Ross Brown, Vice President, Validation & Certification Services will join Lindvall in this new venture. Hoover has nine US patents and nearly 20 years experience, having successfully brought many M2M and cellular phone projects to market, while Brown sports a total of 30 years experience in the communications field, including the last 15 in Certification and Validation.

Connected Development operates at the epicenter of research and technology, providing access to some of the most talented and respected engineers in wireless and M2M, with expertise in everything from custom antenna design to application development to industrialization.
