GE Capital, a global financial services business with strong organizational capabilities, announced the appointment of Deb Frodl as chief strategic and product development leader of GE's capital fleet services business.
Frodl will be responsible for increasing product development, developing marketing strategies, and creating strategic alliances.
Since joining GE in 1989, Frodl has held progressive leadership roles in the areas of marketing, sales and general management. Within GE Fleet Services, Frodl has served as chief commercial officer. With a Bachelor's degree in business from Minnesota State University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, Frodl seems well equipped to tackle her new role.
Clarence Nunn, president and CEO of GE Capital Fleet Services, was committed to the concept of being at the forefront of innovation within the fleet industry and added that the creation of this new role allows the company to continue delivering comprehensive financing and fleet management solutions. It also benefits customers by accelerating innovation opportunities.
Nunn planned to leverage the entirety of GE to solve tough fleet management challenges in key areas, and was keen on creating an awareness in customers about GE's latest technologies and project and keeping them abreast with its expertise in various system related areas.
In addition Nunn also wanted to identify opportunities where GE could help drive productivity and reduce costs.
Adding another feather to its cap, GE Capital Fleet Services announced an expansion of its 25-year relationship with G4S Wackenhut and the launch of a new version of Mobile Resource IntelligenceSM, an award-winning telematics solution with an advanced mapping platform.
