Ecologix to Implement GPS Software Solution for a Law Enforcement Agency


A North Carolina Law Enforcement's agency has selected the latest software solution from Ecologix, a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Bridge Technologies International, to implement GPS technologies.

According to officials with Ecologix, the are possibilities of more sales in the near future as well.

 

Ecologix provides unique location-based service, asset-based security and machine-to-machine "M2M" monitor and control products. The offering allows users to generate operating and maintenance reports to help lower fuel consumption with the help of applications for data and tracking functions across a variety of industries, utilizing CDMA, IDEN, and GSM technologies.

 

The agency decided to go for Ecologix's software solution mainly because of the cost and available features.

 

"We are excited to open this new revenue stream. Although the cost of GPS hardware has been decreasing, software costs have remained constant, leading to strong, long term revenue streams,' stated Leonard Baxter, CEO and president of Green Bridge Technologies (News - Alert). "We will continue to work to keep our software state-of-the-art and work with our installed base to see that they are getting the most out of their investment."

 

Currently, Ecologix supports approximately 100 different GPS devices by different manufactures. Giving the company a major competitive edge and increasing the opportunities for sales revenues.
