Fluensee's AssetTrack has the ability to simultaneously incorporate multiple automatic identification technologies such as RFID, barcode, GPS and sensor technologies in order to manage several kinds of fixed and mobile assets within an organization. Fluensee has executed a combination of active and passive RFID technology at Juniper to facilitate real-time asset tracking and management. Also, it helps to perform quick and efficient internal audits.

Chris Brumett, who is the chief operating officer at Fluensee said "Most organizations that manage critical and expensive assets like test equipment have the same issues: manual processes; labor-intensive inventories; limited visibility, control and utilization of assets; and the need for a solution that makes financial and operational sense. Juniper now has a full-service, flexible enterprise asset management solution that reduces the time and labor needed to perform physical inventories, provides a way to quickly reconcile asset discrepancies, and provides proactive notification of equipment movement which ultimately will help the company streamline operations and save money."

Fluensee's RFID asset tracking system allows Juniper to achieve the operational benefits including reduced time and labor spent performing physical inventories and searching for misplaced assets, improved visibility to every asset movement, and immediate notification of unauthorized moves.

Patrick Thurber, Juniper Networks' director of lab management said that "Initially we set out to provide real-time visibility into the location of our high-value test equipment and receive alerts when these assets move from designated areas. We quickly saw the value in Fluensee's ability to provide a single asset management platform for all of our high-value assets and respective business processes. It was an easy decision to expand the use of Fluensee's solution to support our asset tracking and management requirements worldwide.
