Frost & Sullivan Presents the 2010 North America 'Enabling Technology of the Year Award' to Agnik


Agnik, a dealer in commercial vehicle telematics focused data analytics, has announced that research firm Frost & Sullivan has recognized its solution's ability to enhance mobile resource productivity in commercial vehicle telematics market by presenting them the 2010 North America Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) Enabling Technology of the Year Award.

Frost & Sullivan offers the aforementioned award to companies that have developed a technology that can benefit or revolutionize the industry.

Agnik has claimed that its MineFleet Software is designed for commercial fleet owners and fleet management companies who want the power of advanced predictive vehicle data mining for dramatically reducing the operating costs. It offers powerful onboard data stream mining software for modeling, benchmarking and monitoring of vehicle health, emissions, driver behavior, fuel-consumption, and fleet characteristics.

It is a robust and scalable decision support system that can greatly catalyze and support the development of many advanced driver and vehicle performance monitoring and analysis products and services.

Some of the key benefits of this decision support system are: by employing smart fuel consumption analytics it helps reduce fuel costs and also helps companies to go green; by utilizing data mining technology it offers advanced predictive vehicle health monitoring ability; in-built decision support tools enable trend analysis and anomaly detection; and many more.
