Some of my carrier friends called excited that "I got it."

Hopefully, that was not because "getting it" is a rare experience.

The saturation of wireless is only temporary if the sensors of the world become wirelessly enabled - and the market explodes well beyond the 4G wireless phones in the markets.

Talking to a European carrier earlier this week, I was again struck by how rich the opportunity is for integrators and VARs.

The Europeans have lots of ideas about pharma and telemedicine. They brought "Unit" dose to us, which strangely enough I am reminded of every time I take a piece of gum out of a plastic-and-foil wrapping.

The discussion about dispensing pills and using sensors with patients moved to discussions about transport and fleet management.

And that brings me to issue of how to showcase M2M  vertical markets.

I am going to do a series of audiocasts and I would like to invite the community to talk about their favorite implementations of M2M.

Digital Signs,  Fleet Management, Oil and Gas (boy would that be timely), TeleMedicine, Telmatics and so on all are welcome to be a separate call.  I also am looking to highlight the carriers' partner programs.

Here is what we will do.

1. Send an e-mail to cford@4gwe.com telling me you want to be part of the audiocast;
2. I will treat the requesters as an advisory board and together we will plan the calls;
3. In this column I will announce the calls, and link to a transcription of the previous calls.

My goal is to have all participating speakers join us in Los Angeles October 5for the speaker dinner after the M2M event.
