Cooperation and communication among different people have become more and more important for industrial, transportation, and service sectors. In the field of human-machine and human-computer interfaces, there is need to improve cooperation and communication for multi-user interaction on different level, such as the operational, the design, the maintenance, the management, and the marketing levels. Datalink Systems USA Inc., announced today that the new VeLINK Wireless Data solution will be powered by KORE Telematics, a digital wireless provider of machine-to-machine (M2M) communications.

Datalink customers will be able to instantly use VeLINK with seamless, reliable coverage across the U.S., Canada and Europe via the KORE GSM network. VeLINK is a low-cost, ready-to-install vehicle monitoring, maintenance and location tracking system. The system consists of Datalink's remote vehicle devices, the DataNET back-end software and bundled GSM access and network services from KORE.

This wireless data solution can be deployed immediately, allowing end users to directly procure and deploy the remote units themselves. To ensure ease-of-use throughout the system's lifecycle, Datalink provides a single point of contact for both the initial deployment and the ongoing service, including network access and airtime. The new relationship with KORE enables Datalink Systems to offer a full end-to-end solution for dealers and fleet managers.

Clive Ross, president of Datalink Systems said that the company wanted to provide a simple and straight forward process to procure and deploy a sophisticated fleet management solution through a single point of contact and for this reason the company turned to KORE Telematics, the go-to choice for reliable GSM access and network services at margins that suit company's business model. He continued that as the leading digital wireless M2M network provider, KORE has earned our trust through a long-standing relationship and the company didn't shop the business to smaller M2M providers or even the Tier-One carriers.

Packaged with the KORE network and SIMs, VeLINK streamlines the sales and deployment process for dealers and fleet managers. Other solutions often require dealers to separately arrange for network access and airtime packages for their customers, which can be a time-consuming and expensive process. VeLINK also includes the Datalink DataNET software. For larger dealers who desire to provide an end-to-end VeLINK service, an optional DataGate IP Routing Hub can be procured and operated by the dealer in order to provide localized end-to-end service to its fleet customers.

KORE Telematics was in news last month for selecting Cisco (News - Alert) ASR 1000 Series Aggregation services routers.
