A partnership relation has been reached between Laird Technologies (News - Alert), Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products and Sprint (News - Alert).
Both the companies, owing to the agreement will be allowed to provide their customers with increased options by leveraging the Machine-to-Machine solutions and services of the other company. Laird Technologies offers a portfolio of Code Division Multiple Access-based smart antennas, which can enhance the range, reliability, and capacity of any M2M solution deployed by Sprint’s customers. “As we continue to expand our M2M efforts at Sprint, we are pleased to partner with innovative companies like Laird Technologies,” Wayne Ward, Vice President of Emerging Solutions, Sprint, said. “We believe this collaborative approach to the M2M space will provide customers with the options they need to be successful and deliver the best possible products.”

By offering a wide range of solutions including M2M devices, wireless modules including Bluetooth and Proprietary RF technologies, as well as asset tracking antennas, Laird Technologies has become quite active in the wireless M2M market.
Solutions for the automotive, telematics, healthcare, EPOS, retail, finance, and security, as well as asset management markets are provided by the company’s broad selection of wireless M2M products.
In related news, Laird Technologies, Inc., a major player in the design and manufacture of customized, performance-critical components for wireless systems and other advanced electronics applications, has introduced an online stock locator system for EMI, thermal management, and wireless M2M product lines.
