Digital Sabre Launches SaaS-Based Vehicle Tracking Solution


Digital Sabre, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based provider of customized software application development solutions, has announced the launch of a new software-as-a-service product labeled “TRAKR” being marketed to new and prospective clients.

TRAKR is a Global Positioning System for fleet and mobile workforce management to bring efficiency across fleet and workforce operations.

With TRAKR, users are provided with the ability to view the vehicles at any given point and can view routes taken by their vehicles “snail trail.”

Additionally, the service allows users to schedule trips, assign and schedule tasks to their service personnel, and provide bi-directional task updates. Also, service professionals can view and record outcomes of tasks instantly, the company said.

Ideally designed for fleet management and field services companies and offered as a SaaS (News - Alert) solution, TRAKR also saves companies from installations and hardware costs as the TRAKR interface is easy to use and can provide access to any number of users in the company as needed.

Built on a robust SaaS Framework, the service is optimized for making efficient tenant provisioning, billing package customizations and has built-in metering mechanisms, the company said.

A joint venture between MAS Investments and Revere Investments, Digital Sabre’s expertise lies in Communications Process, CMM Certification,LEAN Software Development, Specialized Development Teams, focused training and methodology.
